What’s this whole “somatics” thing about?
Most fitness training works from an external perspective – what can be done to your body and how it looks from the outside. This approach can lead to unnecessary injuries, body image troubles, and chronic pain.
A Somatic approach to movement switches the emphasis from how you look to how you feel.

You bet. And not just any certification, mind you. Our somatic-based teachers are some of the best-of-the-best and represent a wealth of knowledge, training, and experience in fields like Yoga, Pilates, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Laban Movement Analysis, and more. Do I need any equipment to do the classes?
Most of the classes do not require any special equipment. For those that do, the most common props you’ll need are things you already have at home: a blanket, a pillow, a mat, etc. Some classes use props like resistance bands, yoga blocks, or small weights which can usually be substituted for something you have on hand if you don’t want to buy them.
Can I download the classes to watch later?
Right now the majority of our classes are streaming only. However, we do offer a handful of classes you can download and take with you on the go. Whenever possible we recommend watching videos over a wi-fi connection or upgrading your wireless plan to include unlimited data.
Do you offer refunds?
Nope. Instead we offer you 30 days to try SomaFit for FREE. Since there are no contracts, you can cancel your subscription at anytime via your account dashboard. If you’re not in love with SomaFit, cancel before your thirty days are up and you won’t be charged a penny.
How often do you add new classes?
We add new classes each month and use the feedback we receive from our members to bring you classes that will transform your body from the inside out.
