MOLLY S. JORGENSEN
Molly S. Jorgensen is a Somatic Movement Educator/Therapist, and Dance Artist. She received an MFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah and is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst (CLMA) through the Integrated Movement Studies (an ISMETA approved training program). Currently she teaches at Idaho State University in the Dance and Sport Science and Physical Education programs and throughout her community in Pocatello, ID. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer interested in helping others discover ‘fitness’ from the inside out and to find ease and real health in living an active lifestyle.
Molly offers group instruction as well as personalized movement therapy in Pocatello. She draws upon the work of Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Neurological Developmental Patterns, and other Somatic Influences (Yoga, Pilates, Feldenkrais, Body Mind Centering). Her one-on-one approach uses hands-on re-patterning with movement and verbal instruction to guide clients through a deepened self awareness that fosters optimal physical, emotional, and cognitive performance.
